Adam Robertson Construction Logo

I was commissioned by Adam Robertson Construction to design a logo for use on branded materials such as shirts, hats, and company vehicles. The client provided an inspiration image featuring a circle with trees and a saw, but I aimed to create a unique design rather than directly replicating it.

To maintain the essence of the original concept while adding a fresh perspective, I transformed the circle into a log, symbolizing the transition between a tree and a saw—an ideal representation for a construction business. Additionally, I incorporated a screw head into the "0" of 2012, reinforcing the construction theme. To enhance depth and visual interest, I applied a subtle texture, ensuring the logo didn’t appear too flat.

Adam requested both black-and-white and color variations, so I provided multiple options to ensure versatility across different applications. For smaller formats like letterheads or business cards, I also designed abbreviated versions to maintain clarity and readability.

This project was a great experience, and I’m very pleased with how the final design turned out.
