Raven Roots

For this project, I developed a brand identity for a conceptual business. I created Raven Roots, a gothic-style plant nursery specializing in dark-colored and carnivorous plants. The slides below provide a deeper look into the business concept and branding.

To visualize the interior and exterior of the nursery without using copyrighted images, I utilized AI-generated imagery. For the color palette, I selected deep purples and greens, as many plants that appear black are actually a rich, dark purple. Additionally, green is always present in these plants to support photosynthesis.

Designing this brand was a highly enjoyable experience, as it aligns with my personal interests. I am especially pleased with how the logo turned out—its elegant aesthetic perfectly captures the gothic yet refined feel I envisioned. I also incorporated a custom pattern, a design element I love using for its simplicity and effectiveness in creating a distinctive visual identity.
